In the 80's and 90's my childhood friend Linda Williams and I owned a gift shop Swan Court in San Carlos, CA. We also produced a gift line distributed nationally in stores like Neiman Marcus, Crabtree and Evelyn, Victoria's Secret, Bloomingdale's, and many, many more. Eventually we both chose to move to rural communities to raise our families, have horses and animals, and enjoy all life has to offer in the wide open spaces. Now after 20 years my family is grown and I find myself returning to a past love; sewing, creating, working with color and texture. I am collaborating with my daughter Michelle Hilferty who spent her early years with her sister Ashley and Linda's daughter Morgan, playing display rather than house. :).
